is your level 15 too? i can only get a level 20 elder black moa all the rest are either level 15 or level 12 and i kinda want a level 20 dire pet for big domage

Now that you have easy choices, we can also think about slashing vs piercing damage pets. The naturalist gives info about the damage types pets deal. You should choose a damage type to diversify.

- Packhunters (or anyone crazy enough to use a bow) should use slashing pet to complement their piercing weapon

- Axe RoA (or Scythes) should use piercing pet (unless you have a piercing axe...)

- Hammer thumpers it doesn't particularly matter
